After noticing Crabapple Kitchen quite a few months ago, this weekend I ended up having an afternoon coffee and a breakfast there. The decor and atmosphere is very interesting, with exposed bricks and country-ish tables and chairs. The service is ultra-polished, perhaps a bit too polished for a local cafe but nonetheless efficient. Watching the many waiters rushing about was a bit like being at the Melbourne F1.

We had the pancakes and the big brekky, both of which were very good. The coffee was also smooth and satisfying. We’ll be back!
